I want to fit 205's on the rear and 195's on the front. So give me a price and i'll see if i can afford them. Prefer the South East Queensland area as i live on the Gold Coast.
Can be with or without rubber depending on price increase.
Cheers,
Jasyn... |

i've got a set of 14" rims off a 323 (like pursuit rims) only thing is the hub needs to be grinded out so the wheel will go over the wheel bearing thingy, $100 no tyres |

It sounds like a go, what width are they and see if you can get me a quote on how much it would cost to get the centre ground out for the bearing assembly. I'm looking at overall cost obviously. And i forgot to write that i was actually chasing pursuit type rims, so that's a bonus that they are.
Cheers,

P.S What area do you live in ? |

ferny hills, i have a mate who can probably to 2 for 30 or 4 for 50, i'll have to make sure though he'll spin them up on a lathe and do it properly, its just a pain to catch him with spare time thats all, otherwise my cousin has done one for his spare. i'll have to check on width but i'm pretty sure they are at least 5.5" wide |

Cool as, just try to get as professional looking a job as possible. Just out of curiosity, are the offsets of the rims guarenteed to not scrub anything on the inside or outside ? I know they're not suposed to but i'd obviously like to know if i have to make any other modifications before i fit them. Spacers are illegal here and i'm getting my guards flared eventually, so i'd like them to be a simple bolt-on and drive away deal.
By the weekend this forum will have tonnes more posts, so e-mail me when everythings organised.
Also, what suburb do i have to go to pick them up. Or do you live or cruise on the Gold Coast ?

when you first put them on (with the car jacked up) it will touch the inside strut, but once you get the car off the jack it will be fine, (is you car lowered at all?)
mines lowered 3" at the front and i can't go full lock, but i can get pretty damn close, also the rears have no problems |

Are they from a front wheel drive BMW ? i dont know if there are any, but that would explain an offset problem with them rubbing on the strut. my car isn't lowered yet, but will be within the next few weeks to around 2". With your car being lowered 3", does the wheel/tyre scrub the strut or the guard on full lock ? |
