Got a TF stock(for now).
The motor runs fine except for;
It has a rattle comming from the engine but dosnt seem to be comming from the bottom end.I checked the valve clearances and all was fine.
It also blows blueish white smoke under load and at cold startup.
Any ideas before I just change the motor.

How many K's has the motor done?
Could be your valve stem seals causing the smoke.
The rattle could be your timing chain worn, stretched....
...or... even though your valve clearances are OK, a crap oil will cause any motor to rattle...
..so many choices.  )
