a gemini pannle van for sale right its $900 need heaps of work
but it has a 2 L engine in it does this mean that you would have to take it to regency
or can you just put them in

Depends if it's already got rego or an engineers certificate. Cause i think u need 1 for a 2L but $900 sounds alright.

im going to have a look at it this wk end but i dubt he has a certificate
would you need to upgrade the brake or anything

i don't think so cause a few of the 2L's in the gallery havn't had brake upgrades i suppose you would want 2 if u want to stop quicker. It might also depend on what state your in cause there restrictions and laws very from state to state. There's a site that's in the links section that will tell u about the restrictions and shit like that about modifing your car, but once agian it all varies a little from state 2 state.

In Qld it used to be legal to drop the G200 straight in. Its only an extra 20 or so HP, so why even bother making it legal if its needed in your state? Just grind off the G200 stamp off the block behind the alternator, and on the front of the head, and no pig/mechanic/insurance Company would be any the wiser.
They have 1 less character for the Engine number I think, so you could change that to the G161 format of XXXXXXQ if you wanted to be really paranoid.
