Serious Piazza Q.

Considering piazza half cuts (engine,loom,computer,brakes etc) are around $2000, how much more money would needed to be spent to complete the conversion?
All work except electrical would be done ourselves.

I'm weighing up whether to stick with the 4ZD1 or just do the piazza conversion. I have a rough figure of how much it'll cost me to rebuild the 4ZD1 + blow through carby turbo conversion. I'm curious to see which is better value for money... 2L efi turbo Vs 2.3L carby turbo???

why buy that??? u can get silvia s13 front cuts for $2800!! u will run low 12's stock!

Bollocks. You will not run 12's with a 170 bhp setup in a Gem.
More like 14's.

Because it is easier and cheaper to do. Too much engineering and money involved with a nissan swap.

s13 runs mid to high 13's stock with and exhorst and intercooler, they are 1350kg, a gemini that is lass than 900kg's i thik will make it into 12's! well DEFFINATLY very low 13's

Unfortunately, Gene you got it wrong. A fat 1350kg car will not run 13's with a 170 bhp motor(ca18DET) Whoever told you that is jerkin off.

But dont believ me, do a search on "hp". A number of people had a discussion on this a few weeks ago.
