is my gemini taking about 20 more cranks to start than it used to cause the frugging idiot exhaust guy took of the sensor behind the catalytic converter?
dosn't that sensor tell the ECU that the car is cold and needs to be run rich to start? cause i think now the ecu is getting no response from the sensor and thinking 'i must be warm so i dont need a rich mixture'
please help me i dont wanna wreck anything cranking the shit out of my usually clean starting car cause of some stupid uneducated wanker who took off my 2nd sensor |

The sensor that senses engine temp is the water temp sensor that is on the engine. The only sensor I know of in the exhaust is the oxy sensor which you said you still have. PS the oxy sensor will not effect cold start at all.

no i know the exhaust guy was the dumb shit who said 'its just a heat sensor mate, you don't need it'
the fact i am missing the O2 sensor after the cat completely now won't make a difference to the cold start then...
thats interesting
