Hey,
I just want some people's thoughts on this, as my friend and I have been talking about it, and can get a half-cut pretty cheap.
Take an SR20DET engine (that's a Nissan 2L turbo out of a 180SX) and drop it into a TE. Anyone seen this done or even done it (or similar, say a CA18DET).
Its gotta be super sweet.

i'm planning on doing it actually. so i'll second that post. gonna get a bigger turbo though and hi-flow it. get it bored to 2.2L, 45mm wastegate, blow-off valve and dual stage in cabin boost controller. you know, all the essentials. plus maybe some custom extractors if it's practical. cold air intake. yeah - all the necessities. so get back so we can figure out if it can be done and how difficult it is.

Its not that hard, its done all the time in Geminis... my mate has a SR20T in his TG looks great and goes hard!! |

can you bore a ca18det to 2.2L? if it starts at 130kw - what would it end up (approx) after this was done? |
