one more thing,
is it possilbe to remove the factory rubber mouldings /badges without damaging the paint..
im to scared to try. |

yeah it is possible, take it easy tho. the rubber door mouldings are easy coz the glue on them is usually just about dry, once u start it off it just keeps going, u mite have some left over glue on the doors, use your finger nails to get that off or metho on a rag |

get a thin flat head screwdriver. wrap the end in masking tape (to avoid damaging paint). very gently pry in under the strips until you can get a hold of an end and then just peel it back - carefully! badges are pretty much the same but you have to take a bit more care and also pry them up a bit more as they are not flexible

hey
i did this just the otehr day, mine had the ones about 3/4 of the way up the door panels that are about 1/2 inch wide, they came off real easy just peeled away, the rts badge came off easy too had the same glue stuff as the other strips, just double sided tape liek stuff, the 'gemini' badge came off easy to but it took a big chuck of paint with it so i had to stick it back on cos it went right back to the metal, but yeah tis fairly easy |
