OK,
I can help, First get the phone book and contact your local Freight forwarder that specialises in car importation.
Issues to consider:
1. Cost of car in Japan.
2. Freight costs and car loading charges in Japan
3. Australian charges (Not cheap), steam Cleaning, unpack, port charges customs clearance Import Duty GST
4. if you plan to register the car then you MUST get a Permit for the vehicle and I think you will also need Japanese Police certificate to prove it was not previously stolen, proir to importation (From Camberra)
Probably the best option would be to strike up a deal with a local car importer in your area that specialises in importing cars and they could do you a Port to Port deal wich will be cheaper than you could get through a freight forwarder.
