hey everyone. as most of you know i'm planning an fj20 turbo conversion into my gemini. now i have my tf sitting in the garage and at the moment i'm still driving my subaru. do you think i should keep driving scooby doo and fix the gem right up before i register and start driving it or should i put the 1.6 motor together, register it and drive it til i can aford what i'm gonna do to it. see, i gotta get the rust taken out (next couple of weeks), then get new interior carpet, wire up my stereo, paint it and put the engine and gearbox in (including conversion from auto to manual). i have heaps of good mates in the panelbeating business so rust and paint is gonna be cheap as chips. half cut is 2 large though. what advice can someone give - what do you think i should do? sorry for long post.
cheers |

Mate, keep that gemmi in your garage and fix it first. It is the biggest waste to have 2 cars registered when youre only using one. The other bitch of it is that if you decide to sell your subaru to fund the gemmi, youre stuck without a car, or youre stuck driving a car that you will promise to do up, but cant afford to be off the road for an amount of time.
Trust me mate, keep it in the garage |

I reckon you should sell it and buy an excell...
Seriously tho, the choice is purely a personal one, dont be swayed by what other people do, do it for yourself.
