what needs to be done to a 1.6 to fit a 2lt head. i have been told u drop it straight on. I did this and after two days it blew a head gasket. any help would be good. u can email me seb_8_11@hotmail.com |

I have to ask.
Why are you putting a 2lt head on a 1600 ??
I think if its blown a gasket the head must be warped,but I could be wrong.. |

If the head is in good condition, then you can simply bolt it on. They are interchangable. This is one of the best ways to lower the compression on a 1600.
Maybe you were detonating, too much ignition advance??
