where to find twincam gaskets?

Yo,

I have a G200 Twin cam and was just wondering where other Twin cam owners get their gaskets from. I used a place in Melbourne once but they were bloody expensive. I live in Brissy but any place you know of in Aus will do.

The previous owner of my car said he had to get the head gasket from the phillipines.. imported! However I'd try rare spares or your local gemini wreckers. I know if you were in SA steve from just geminis would be able to help you out for sure, he knows his shit!

Also try a jap wreckers since the engine is the same as from the very early imported piazzas.

Go to Fastair Spares (used to be at ALbion) they will sell you one for a lot less than the a-holes at some of these Performance shops around town will try and milk you for.

might be worth getting a standard, copper (or aluminium?) custom one made up for the price you pay for some of them...

i got quoted 400 bucks for a gasket kit from the people that do AAA automotive engines stuff

I know about the place at albion. I not actually chasing a head gasket but all the other gasket ie sump, tappet cover etc.
