i read down below that the noise that the gearbox makes when the clutch is out might a the thrust bearing. what is this is it hard to replace???????????? |

you have to pull off the gear box to get at bit of a mission i'm doing mine on sunday might write
a work shop article on it i paid $10or15 for the bearing so it's not an expensive fix just time consuming

I have changed mine 3 times, and each time after the change, it only takes about 4 weeks to start up with that noise again ...
Why bother? ... |

ok well my engine is out so i might swell replace it. is it that hard to do |

reach in and pull it out and put new one on. if the engins out about a 2 minut job _________________
