new stereo head units come with a hole in the back of them to attach a double threaded screw for security and also holes for screws in the sides (as an allternative) if your car doesn't have a place at the back of the console to screw in the double threaded screw.
MY PROBLEM:
My 1982 TF Gemini doesn't have holes for either of these securing and security measures!?!?! what can i do to get around this little problem. what have you done to yours??? please tell. thanks |

it's not made for security, it's made cos i new cars, some head units slide in straight away, and u also put a rubber bit on the end of the screw and it keeps things in place.
but gems don't use that crap, so u just use ure brains, and make some shit so if any cunt want 2 steal ure pride and joy, he'll be there for days.
chirs. |

cut a stip of metal, about 30cm long, drill two holes in it, one at each end, attach one end to the back od the deck, and the other end, once ure cable r setup, just feed it tru with all ire cables so it comes out under the dash, and find somewhere to screw it on.
CHRIS, spelt it rite dis time. |
