i dont think it would be a good idea to have a bov on a suck thru set up as fuel vapor would be vented over the engine and when the engine is hot i think it would cause a fire
cheers nik |

hey dude yeh ya cant have a BOV on a suk through ,cos yeh the only reason bov are on there is to release the pressure so the turbo can keep its spool up without having to regenerate so in other words it helps keep the turbo spinning at high revs so the spool is continuous not having to generate back up, so yeh on a suk through u dont have to worry cos the carby is before the turbo and u dont have to worry about that, doesnt have to release the pressure cos cos carby is before the turbo and its sucking fuel through not air.only has to release the air , and if u release the fuel that will only make it run shit, i am jsut gonna run my turbo straight onto the carby but i am changing the carby to something bigger like 45-50mm down draft or a side draft and that way u can put a BOV on this cos it will run the same as an efi set up but using the carby for the blow through set up, thats what im doing |
