Gene - Safety sticker?

In the cruise forum you mention something about having a safety sticker or you'll be fined $400?? What is all that about - do you need a sticker for your for sale sticker?? WOT/??

to sell a car/advatize it for sale u have to have a current roadworth certificit displayed at all times allong with the forsale sign. penalty was $375 no point. this QLD not sure on other states

Oh shit haha, When I was selling my other wagon I stuck it out on the road with a for sale sticker and the cops ended up coming past and checking the car out. The car was roadworthy though but I didn't display anything apart from the for sale sign.

Lucky, the cops only had a look and left. Maybe they wanted to buy it !!

The only point our resident genius forgot to mention is that the car doesnt need a safety certificate if its for sale and unregistered.(in QLD)

yeah so put a sticker on ya car saying "for sale unregistered" and see how many times u get pulled over and get defects............. think about it mate.

If its unregistered, that means its not driven on the road!
