i was just wondering if a ratchetless handbrake was at all possible to achieve in a gemini.

yes it is. take the handbrake out and shear off the pin holding the ratchet assembly . (permanent fix but not legal.) i had a handbrake like this but it wouldn't pass the transport test. what i do now is just push in the handbrake button and cover it with race tape if i am rallying. works a treat and then you still have a handbrake later.

i accidently did a similar mod. just leand across to get something out of my glove box and pushed the leaver to the side. this sheared off the teath and for the next 3 years had an offcut of pine holdiing my handbrake on when it was parked. |

hook up a hydrolic handbrake. there legal as lond as u have a secondary system so get one of those dahs ones. im hooking one up in mine when funds come my way |
