i have a TE SL/X and am lookin at fitting in a new stereo system. is it possible to getthe old am radio/cassete out of it and put the new head unit in its place because it is attached to the air vent controll thingo. what is the esiest and neatest way of going about this? cheers josh |

bro just do it urself i have a TE 2. just rip it off or go 2 a autobarn and they will do it 4 ya |

just do it yourself man if your confident, 3bolts 1 at the back and 1 each side, i think there 8mm/phillps head bolts, |

right read carefully cos it could get confusing. you know how you have an entire piece of black spotted plastic all the way from the left side of the radio to the right side of the air thingies. i just pulled it all out and figured how far right the right hand side of my head unit would go and cut the plastic spotty thing at that length. leave out all the black spotty thing around the unit and just have a rectangle surrounding you air levers.

just hack into it with the saw and glue it in. you can fit it around your head unit if you can be bothered. |
