Is there an alternative way of minimising road noise in the cabin other than the tar? (like a carpet underlay or something).
If i was gonna use sound deadening tar how much of the cabin do I have to paint/spray to get a reasonable block? Just inside the cabin, just underneath it...etc. (I'm after minimal effort, maximum result)

c'mon, its a gemini!! if you want no road noise go buy a mercedes
but... minimal effort would be carpet underlay
best result would be a few coats of brush on sound deadenr on the underside (and inside if you want) of the body. inside of the doors and on the doors under the door trims will help quieten it down
you will be adding a few kilos of weight so keep that in mind if u are performance minded |

Hey just a thought, I had a lot of road noise in
my gem and it was caused by a missing rubber boot
that went over the gear stick and attaches to the
floor.
Cheers
