turbo on 1.6 isuzi

i've fitted a turbo to my 80 model gemini. the pistons have been machined to take the boost. im interested to know what setups people have tried. im currently using the standard carbie as i cant get my other XF carby to fit under the bonnet (the intake pipe is too high). im thinking about throttle body injection but i'd like to hear if anyone has had any success with carbies before. i have a 1.5 inch SU i was going to put infront of the turbo. so it draws the fuel through the turbine and then into the engine. but im not sure about that yet.

I got told To get a XF carbie when i asked how to get good airintake,.. so it does fit under thats one thing for sure.. he is a mechanic in melbourne all he said is to " get a XF carbie and adapter"

yive read in a fast fours about a dude wit a g161 turbo and he is using the XF throotle body thats all that i can remeber(too long ago)

doesnt fit?
ive got a turbo td gem with a 32/36 dgav weber n it has a 100mm planum ontop of it.
but xf's r adm webers n ive heard work better

I've tried all the setups. For most power, you should bolt on the ADM weber and redesign the air/intake so it fits under your bonnet. Incidently, what fuel pump and regulator are you using?

Then, you should concentrate your efforts on installing an intercooler and upping the boost.

i`ve got a suck thru 1600 running a 45mm weber, i was running A cd175 stromberg, similar to a su. weber is better tho, & the 1.5 inch su may b 2 small..
