hey guys, My uncle has asked an engineer at PBR about a heavy duty clutch for my gem, and he said that if i get one i'll have to replace all my hoses, cuz they will blow, is this true? or a load of bull?? I don't understand how a clutch could make hoses blow. anyways let me know what you guys think, cheers

how much is a hd clutch. one of my mates rekons he can get it for me a trade price but i think he is full of shit. |

Gemini clutches dont have hoses as they aren't hydraulic. Only a cable. Sometimes with a heavy duty clutch you can snap the cable alot easier. I had a 2400LB pressure plate in my gem and I snapped it a few times. Then I just got a commodore cable and shortened it. Never broke.
However you still may blow a radiator hose as these are prone to blowing with any clutch replacement.
