Sorry my question wasn't detailed enough mate. In terms of more power I'm after some extra power for cruising on the freeway a bit easier - I am planning a 5 speed to help this - and also a bit more acceleration. I'm not planning to build a racecar but since you seem to know what you are talking about perhaps you could give me some suggestions with estimated costs and power gain.
P.S I am in Melbourne and my uncle races sprintcars so I get some help from him. |

Wasnt trying to be insulting, was just in a pissed off mood. Sorry dude.
Plain and simple, want a mild performance improvement for better overtaking and a bit more throttle response, whack in a 30/70 regrind cam (around $80) and you could follow any number of steps on how to fit it. I think there is one on this site????, chuck on some extractors and a decent 2 inch exhaust ($400max new, less second hand) and get you carby jetted up to suit. 10 - 15 hp extra no dramas, drive better, overtake better and wont lose your fuel economy. |
