hi. i am currently buying a g200 motor out of a rodeo which needs a rebuild. was talking to someone the other day and they said they were expensive to do up. could anyone give me a rough estimate for rings, bearings, pistons etc, or just a general price i should expect to pay. i know there will probably be varying factors for any rebuild but a rough guide would do. thankyou. |

Dont't quote me on this one but a mate of mine is doing one up and he bought a whole rebuild kit for like $400 and that got him rings, bearings, new gasket set no pistons and im not sure if got a water pump in that too. |

i'm thinking of doing something similar. i'm thinking bout 200 for the block for the rebuild (g200), bout 1100 for the bottom to be done, and about 500 for the head.

$1100 sounds about right for a thorough bottom end rebuild. it'd wanna be a pretty special head for $500 but !!!! |
