hey any one in qld now what the deal is if u change any engine in ur gem and then the engine numbers dont match the compliance plate do u have to get i recomplianced with the new engine number before registering it or should it be allright if the engine number is differant. |

ring main roads and tell them ya changed ya engin, and that its the same, then u give them the new engin number. but u have to go and get a new modplate with the new engin number put on it. no biggy |

depends dude, my car has had the engine changed before i bought it, it had a stock 1600 taken out n another put in, when i went n registered it i think she just put down the new engine number n shit but cos it was stock there wasn't a prob, i didn't register the car so i dont really know much else, i got the old man to do it for me. i didn't have to get another plate or nuttin. |
