if you want to cover them, you can expect higher premiums, 17s (to my knowledge) are illegal... _________________

if a car was fully certified, engineered (expect to pay up big) then you will be charged higher premiums for what you are insuring, as im led to believe from various companies _________________

Mate I have 17's on mine and no probs with insurance
you just have to go to someone like shannons and get
it insured as a modified vehicle but they will require
a 3 point immobiliser and alarm system once it is insured
as a modified car you can do anything to it as long as you
let them know
Hope this helps
