Hi every one I blu up my 1600 gem coupe so I bought a g200 motor to build up to replace it.What I want to know is what parts should I use on the build.I have read the 1600 head on the 2ltr will give more compresion .Correct? and are the valves and ports the same or bigger If so can I use the 2ltr cam in the 1600 head not sure but I would think the 2ltr cam would have more lift and duration. just trying to build best power out of what Ive got. Thanks |

Get a big valve head on, get a weber,a big cam and a big exhaust, put that all together and put it in. That should go pretty well. |

that costs money I'm just building the car for motor karna's 1/8 mile drags and local burn out comps just for fun but I would like to make it go as hard as possible with the parts I have without costing heaps it could blow again at any moment. |

I have a G200 with a g161 head on it with flat top pistons and big valves double valve springs etc. But the head has been chambered (metal taken out of the head) because it had too much compression. |
