what would be the easiest and best way to turn a totally craacked dash looking brand spanking new. i was told the bog wont flex when in the heat, so it would crack up again.
others say get a new dash but where i live it is pretty hard to get any. i have to travel at least 2.5 hours to any major town.
any help much appreciated |

hey dude, i used septone bog to do my dash, then i airbrushed it, looks ok, but did crack in one place again, but that could have been from putting it back in, if ur gunna bog it though use a fiber glass bog, it looks like bog n fiber glass mixed together (obviously) its much stronger, then if u wanna put normal bog ova the top of it to get ur shape, but if its cracked real bad use the fiber glass then normal bog, n then paint away!
sorry for long post, if u want more info let me know, matt |

Never tried this but sure it would work and looking at doing it soon. Try selleys space filler. You know the shit that is like a expanding foam that you spray in to holes in a wall to fill the gaps. Use it to fill the cracks. Sand it back. Should handle the flex better than bog. |
