sorry to bring up an old topic but i tried search and couldnt find the answer i was lookin for.
has anyone tried drilling out the pins instead of hitting them out.
is there anything else you can do

buy a door pin removal tool from autobarn or sprints or what not. works like a charm.

u can get the tool from repco, its not called anything fancy just a door pin remover and installer, it cost all of $50 n fuck it saves some time, make sure you spray the roll pins wit wd40, rp7, 556 or the likes to lossen em up, do that about 24 hours b4 n then spray em again about 20mins before you do it n they come out easy as, using the tool and a hammer n a mate to hold the door u'll be sweet.
(iv'e done this a few times its piss easy, make sure u spray it wit wd40 first though! otherwise its a bitch! )

hey heres a cheap and easy way of doing it and it wont even cost u fifty bucks. get bonnett holderupper thingy from old gemmy and chop about a 10 cm length out of it and hey presto you have a piece of steel just the right diameter for knocking out door pins. trust me this works. |
