I have a Blaupunkt 2x200 for my subs, and I wanna run a 2x100 for my splits..... if I put em in series, will it make me subs go all fucko????
Thanks man... |

each of them have a dedicated power and ground wire.
if u put them in series, the subs will probably go "all fucko" cos they wont have enough power cos the other speakers will draw power from the same wire causing them to compete for power. |

Or you can do it the proper way as I have and run a big wire (4 guage) down to your boot and then into a splitter block and then run a small wire (8 guage I think mine are) to each amp. This way you dont have to have multiple wires comming from your battery to your boot. |

That's exactly how I have done it, with a fat 4 gauge cable running from the battery to the boot, then a power distro box splitting it to two 8 gauge cables to each amp.
The 4 gauge cable can hold over 100amps, which is more than enough for two amps, even with my sub amp being 290WRMS @ 2 Ohms |
