hi,
when youve lipped the guards on your gem did u put the plastic inner lining back and trim it? or leave it out.
I dont really want to leave it out but seen as though it gets in the way where the guard lip was there is not really any point in lipping the guards if the plastic is still there.
and if you cut it dirt and shit could still build up...
what did everyone ot there do when they lipped there guards? |

hahaha, and dont fill the holes that the clips for the plastic go through. I did this and lost a couple of secs down the 1/4 |

yeah we lipped em completely then pissed off those plastic thingys and painted the whole underbody in bituman sound deadener stuff. |

yeah i ditched them too, you'll get an extra few seconds down the quarter with out them |

And then when you paint the undside with bitumen you lose a couple of seconds so it all evens out mate. |
