ive read the workshop article and i was wondering if the 2.6 rodeo is as easy as the 2.3 ???? how similar are they to each other ???? also do both engines come out with efi ???? just wondering cos im considering this conversion.....thanks for any help.

i know for sure you can get the 2.6 in efi. not sure bout the 2.3. also both more or less the same donk so goes in just as easy |

ive done the conversion. all 2.6L are efi, and im pretty sure all 2.3L came out with carby. doing the conversion is the same as all other conversions, custom sump, cutting firewall, gearbox clearance blah blah blah. then you have to wire up the computer, rewire the alternator

2.3 is a bolt in swap if you use the distributer from a holden shuttle. It will clear the firewall. This goes with the piazza (4zc1-t) as well.
You may have trouble with the 2.6 as it will be taller than the 2.3 which is already close to hitting the bonnet.
