|
|
Hey all, just wondering if you have some HELPFUL advice on my situation. I have a G200 bottom end which I intend putting together with some G161 parts. My prob is this; it is missing the flywheel. Can I use the flywheel of the G161 and that clutch, or do I need to scout around for a G200 flywheel and clutch? It won't be an overly powerful motor, high comp will probably be the only mod.
Cheers, Greg. |

how heavy would that be, and would it put more power into a 1800 than it would a 1800 cluth and flywheel |

I might just use the G161 flywheel until I know the motor is any good (that is still an unknown). That should do to mount the starter to.
But, are there any parts that can't be interchaged? I have 1 and a half g161 motors to attack (and one good one as spare) and was just going to pinch what I don't have. I might even have to use the other timing chains etc. Any probs there?
Anyway, thanks for the info.
