| i recently had my carby overhauled in my 83 TG SL gemini. but now the revs hit a hole when i accelerate sometimes even the engine will stop does it just need a tune up to fix this problem |

it sounds like youre sucking the bowl dry in the carby, try replacing your fuel filter, maybe you disturbed some crap in the filter thats now blocking the flow... if you know what i mean  |

i think the fuel filter was replaced before the carby was overhauled but i'll take it off and check it out
