|
|
As martin mentioned in the below thread about my car woes, I'd be happy with a carby setup on my dohc instead of the injection. Sure its gonna eat more fuel and not be as smooth but should be a bit cheaper to get up and running.
Heres a pic of it done, so I'm sure its possible.

Now, what is required for it to be done correctly ? |

twin cams also came out carburettored. use Twin Sidedraft Webbers or twin SU's (they are a bitch to tune though). i had a set but i sold them. you will need the carbies and the correct manifold. |

What about single carb ?
Theres a photo of it done with a 32/36 so it can be done. Anyone know how ?
This is for a daily driver street car, I don't want huge speed. I just want it to run smoothly. |

I just wondered since it has been done a couple of times before.
I spoke to dave (guy who does EFI for just gemis) today and he said he could possibly get me a second hand haltech or something for a good price. So I will prolly stick the EFI route now.
Starting to primer the car today. Yay! |
