Car is coming along. Heres a pic of the engine bay. Nothing amazing but A LOT cleaner. No shitty blue paint anymore.

looks good mate but one question are you going to locate the battery in the boot??
just that it looks out of place in the engine bay now..
and would look nicer and cleaner if it wasnt there..

looks good mate! are u sprayin the car black?
my cars coming along pretty good...im in nsw at the moment so as soon as i get back ill be getting my puter setup and then the beast should be on the road. i am currently thinking about getting a 180sx with r34 gtr wheels on it and painted cyber green like my gemi. |

Nah just doing it white. Did the bay black since it looks a bit neater I guess. Easier to get good coverage with the black paint too.
Got one or two more welds to smooth off and can start priming her. Will be nice to see it all neat again. The prep has taken me ages.
I need a computer to get it ticking tho ! |

Yeh, it would be a nicer idea to put the battery in the boot but I don't think the engine bay is really that great to warrant moving the battery away. I just want it to look neat and it does pretty much.
Actually come to think of it the battery hides a bit of the wiring for the lights and stuff so its a double edged sword.
Prolly if I cleaned up the battery a bit it might not look so ugly in there. |
