Has anybody heard of or had experience with the 'pro-hart' mod that my dad has been talking about? It's basically a fine stainless steel mesh between the carby and intake manifold, which is supposed to better atomise the fuel and therefor, better economy. My thoughts are that it would reduce power, as it is a restriction in the intake but my mate reckons that that doesn't matter, if the fuel vaporises better, it will have more power.
What do you think/know about this? |

I'm starting to think that too. Been searching the net and I can't find any details about it, only on how poorly the company trying to market them is doing.
And if it was that simple, wouldn't it have been done from factory?
Still open to suggestions though
Cheers

Obviously the efectivness of something like that would depends on the setup of the other equipment etc. etc. If you get the right sort of carby for your motor then your fuel would already be atomised correctly anyway therefore you dont need that restrictive layer to do the job |
