Hi all,
After Getting the head shaved, a big lumpy cam put in and the carby rejetted, my Gem did go as i would have expected.
The cam has a power range from 2.5 to 6K.
It would go hard up to about 3.5 then pretty average after that.
Why?? Cause the machanic did not set the carby up proberly.
Solution = Muller and Jacko. (in melb) which also gave me good advise about what to do when i get exractors.
Now I have to ease off a bit cause she revs out so quik, before i know it I'm doing 6K. - lov'n it! best 20 bucks ever spent.
Also I had exacly 210 pounds in each cylinder - is that good??, I had 20/50 oil in at the time but normally run 25/70 which i have been told will give me more compression.
any idears?
Thanx. |

NO , Its on the other side of the city (coburg maybe), but maybe there is another location in glenhuntly.
If so i might have to check it out as that is so close to me.
