why is everyone using 4-2-1 extractors??
i had em for about a year then went to 4-1 tuned length and theres a noticable power difference _________________

I have 4-1... I've been told by exhaust people (so who knows really) that 4-1 are better at high rpm, while 4-2-1 have more back pressure and therefore are better at lower rpm, but restrict a little at high.
So it depends on what you want really, personally high rpm is good.

I'm guessing tuned length means the headers are the same length from the exhaust port and where they all meet? In that case, mine are tuned length. |

my 4-1 had better low to mid range and my 4-2-1were better for top end but i had a 21/4 inch with the 4-2-1
and a 2 inch with my 4-1 that may have made a difference

they look crap gene! and it makes it abit harder to swap engines too. but i still wouldnt have 4-2-1s maybe if they are painted or chromed they would look better |

they get in the way, you have to tie them back really tight to the shock tower with rope or you bash the brake resivoir... |

the engine mounts get stuck between the TUNED LENGTH extractors and the brake resevior. it shits me coz im always pulling my engine out... |
