I am planning on putting a heavily shaved TX head on a G200. I have one burning question before I attempt an engine rebuild.
How will the G161 camchain fare in terms of length and slackness? the chain itself is still in good nick, with no noticeable stretching. I have an adjustable timing gear set, so I can counter any drastic changes in height.
Will the chain be long enough considering the extra height of the G200 block?
Thanx |

the G161 chain is too short use a G180 or G200 chain
ps the water jackets on a G161 and G180 heads are different to the G200 i would use a G200 head gasket |

Thanx pig! I was aware of the G200 water jacket issue. I now have the final piece of the engine puzzle. I can go build! |
