: kit to convet to Five stud axels
umm yeah a kit?? u have to make it yaself basicly, and why would u want 5 stud?
: kit to convert to 4 wheel disk brakes,
again make it yaself, theres heaps of conversions to be done
4 piston calipers
u bean twin piston calapers??
also why would u need upgrade rear brakes with just a 2l?
-------------------------
brake ideas
hopper stoppers do a kit with vx commodore calapers for $770, $950 with vented disks and $1200? with slotted and cross drilled.
this includes everything to bolt straight on.
castel main rod shop do a kit with all the bits and pieces for $250, but u have to supply HQ calapers and falcon disks.
dba221 disks with the hub machined out to suit the stub axel, with vb-vp capapers, on TX 2 peice stud axel. then u need a braket made for the calapers to suit (a guy in perth sells the brakes with the 2 piece stub axels for $400+p/h)
a mate of mind used audi disks (4x100) fitted straight onto the stub axel after a small bit off maching to the axel. then fitted VK calapers with very small mods
thers a guy (MARK) on here who does vn calapers and disks for $400 ish (havent seen him for a while
i have audi disks on teh front with vl calapers and vl disks and calapers on the rear
hope this helps

Last Car was a 400ci SLR5000, I would like to take the $3000 set of mags off and put them on the TD. As for the 4 wheel disks.... Why not... mind u the TD is just a parts chaser for the NEW project.(F.Y.I a 400 chev and box fit in the back off a TD wagon no sweat.) |

Why not,Acording to the hisory of holden web page,The gemini and the LC-LJ torries share the same diff housing....
Im not shore if this is true, But Its worth a try..,The LC-LJ torrie offset cant be that mutch diferent to the SLRs,.. Anyway that sites what gave me the idea anyway If it dosent work the the mags stay in the shed and I drive on Factory rims, Be a few mods involved but? |
