| Does anyone know if the Gemini manual gearbox's have different ratios to the older Rodeo gearboxes or does the Rodeo just have a different diff ratio which gives it the short first and second gears? Also, is the Rodeo gearbox a stronger gearbox than the Gemini because it is a commercial vehicle gearbox? Any help would be appreciated! |

the gemini 4 speed has the best ratios for best times
the normal converion is the disel 5 speed it has shitter 1st gear no pull |

The gemini 4 and 5 speeds have the same ratios, except with the obvious exception the 5speed has that extra gear. That said i dont see how the 4speed has better ratios, if u mean that the 5th gear is pretty much useless unless ur cruising at 100 yeh. I think rodeos had shorter 1st 2nd and 3rd, not sure.
