Has anyone gone about rebuilding a piazza motor to handle a considerable amount of boost? What sort of things would need to be done, and what is a rough estimate of costs? When funds allow it, i will be doing something like this, and i want to figure out how to do it and costs. |

Anthony,
It would be the standard sort of thing. Make sure that he crank and rod are in good nick and whack a set of forged pistons in. Tidy up the head and make sure that the machine work is top notch. You will be looking at around $1500 for machining and around $800-1200 for forged pistons. If are are going to go to that sort of trouble then look at adding $500 for a custom plenum as well.
Cheers
