Just FYI, Manual Gems to at least TD met emission levels for 27a without EGR etc and did not have pollution gear fitted apart from fuel vapour capture. That's from the General himself. Don't know of manual TE onwards. |

I believe it is determined by the engine, not the car. So if you put a late model engine into an old car, the emissions must meet that set for the newer engine. |

In victoria, if you do an engine modification, then it still has to comply with the ADR that applies to the car, in most gemini cases, ADR27.
If you do an engine conversion, then you have to comply with the ADR of the vehicle, or the engine, whichever is later.
Apparantly other states like QLD are a lot slacker with respect to emissions.

when did the g180 first come out?? does that mean that my tg has to comply with that year??
what if you have a "bitsa" motor??
do they decide? |

I'd assume they'd decide by what engine/block you have... |
