I know pretty much all of you are sick of these questions but i thought it was worth a try cause i neva got a straight answer in the old forums ive read
I got a 1.6L 4speed my gemi now, but, like most people i want more power
I dnt want a turbo just yet cause it costs to much insurance wise and to get the damn thing in there...
so i was thinking just a straight sr20 non turbo
Anyone got any other ideas?
mainly along the idea of 2L i was thinking
anything non turbo for a few years,
cheers |

get a g200 and then take the head off and get about 600 bucks worth of work done to it. get a good carb and a 5speed. that will make for some real power |

As for the sr20, anything you drop in that is not a sohc g series engine will cost the same for insurance regardless of whether a turbo is hanging off. Better off going crazy on a 2L with twins, then again insurance will still be the same as a turbo engine.
