Dont mean to poke my nose in this one/ or sound stoopid
but have you thought of coil pack ignition, as i am not aware of what you are runnin, but have read other post regardin to what you are running, (motor setup)
or perhaps a MSD module,
for my DOHC Turbo, i have coil pack ignition, been searchin also for dizzy but prefer a precise spark, not puttin this unit down, but for garauntee purposes, im tryin to find a crank angle sensor and have been told to modify a Magna VR4 crank angle sensor may help,
the computer i use is a Microtech MTX8, so tuning is fairly easy, the car is not finished, but yer just suggesting, other than that you could get one made up at an Automotive Electrics specialist, there is one in Kallangur that is good, or try the boomtish shops like Driftkings, or the import gemini wreckers and nick one off a JT series, dunno if it will fit, good luck

i heard that these dizzy's fuck up after a while the spring or the magnets in them break and you need a whole new unit.
is all you need for the electronic ingition setup a crank angle sensor and coil? and an computer that controls ignition?
i've been considering all this because i have my twin cam out of the car at the moment
i dont know how i'll go with engineering though if i dont have the standard computer on there :\ |
