I am getting a pair of 6" 180 watt speakers for the rear shelf in my RB. But they don't fit. Anything i can do?

yes, cut bigger holes in the sheetmetal, tinsnips or a grinder, but protect ur window from the sparks. or alternatively, u could make or buy ur own speaker spacers/pods for the rear shelf. |

cut the metal, speaker pods kill bass. if possibly, put 6x9's instead of 6" in the back. use 6" in the front doors. |

my mates sl/x didnt have holes cut through the parcel shelf, but had provisions for speakers through the metal itself, but i guess thats just the luck of the draw |

Mine has partical board and a piece that can be pushed out of it for rear speakers. But still i don't want to cut the metal. I might either buy some pods and put them in the front doors or on the parcel shelf.

dont put pods on the rear shelf; itll sound nasty. go buy some splits, put them in the front doors, and subby it up in the back |
