Allo,
Just a simple question.
Whats it going to cost to a) buy a SR20 Turbo Half Cut b)Get it put into the Gemini.
I see it this way, why buy a car with this already in it and waste my Gemini Wagon, when I can possibly buy the engine parts and use em in my Gemini..
so, in a nut shell, whats all this going to cost?
OR......
If I was to get a 2 Ltr engine, whats it gonna cost approx to Turbo it?
Thanks, and yeah, this is prolly a lame question, but I want a HARD Gem like everyone else seems to have these days!

Your Looking between $1500 to $2500 for the half cut and about $500 to $1000 To put it in plus you need an engineering certificate. |

HAHAHA thats funny
$2800 for a sr20 1/2 cut, from a s13
$3000 at least to get it in and runing in stock form.
i know cos i done it, well the fj20, same shit different bucket.
u have to get a computer thats $1000 in its self, and a custom exhaust cos the stock on dont fit in the gemini $600ish, cooler and plumbing $800ish 2nd hand, custom exhaust $600ish, upgrade fuel system $300ish, custom sump $300ish, engin mounts and gearbox mounts $$$, hydrolic clutch set up $$$, time on the dyno for tuning $70 per hour $$$ (takes about 4 hours), front brake upgrade $400ish. and if u had a brain in your head u would upgrade ya suspension and get aftermarket sway bars thats $600ish
thats just a stock engine, u would want a bigger turbo if u are going to the trouble of getting a custom exhaust manifold, so theres another $1000 _________________

that seems to be a good saying as u allways run into hidden problems or extra things u need. i started rebuilding a fresh g161 bottomend (stock except for bore) a couple of weeks ago to replace my stuffed one and now it has grown to an allout race engine. |
