hey im just about 2 buy sum 17" rims 4 my gemi but i want 2 no if u guys have had much trouble with ur insurance company wid this situation? how much extra its gunna cost ect
p.s im 17 and on my P's

yeah you'll probably have trouble getting insurance... they love us young guys with modifications. Rest assured suncorp metway will insure your seatcovers, just not your wheels and stereo.... |

na thats ok im gettin a set of 17's wid rubber ( not the best but passable) for 600. unsure of the brand |

apparently you cant get a gemi insured with 17's. the wheels are only meant to be one inch bigger than standard.
you can however get them engineered. your car has to weight more than 1000kg and be able to turn from lock to lock without hitting the guards for it to pass engineering. once passed engineering you will be able to insure it. |
