I have seen the upper anchorage of a 4 pt harness going to the parcel shelf, with a 50mmx50mm steel plate under the parcel shelf, and the supplied bolt. From memory, a nylock nut was used.
I assume the lower anchorages were installed to the factory positions. No reason why not as far as i can see.
Sorry though Gene, haven't done it myself. |

Yes this is true, mine are screwed to the original mountings with eyelets instead of the original bolts
with the ADR standards you can run a harness as long as you retain the original seatbelts as well
BUT still elegal to use on the street..
The rear one of mine in mounted to the roll cage but yes to the child restrant nuts in the parcell shelf should be fine

there are no child restrants on mine?
i have welded 200mmx200mmx2mm plates on top of the parcel tray left and right. then im gonna drill 2 holes for the 2 sholder straps. bolt them to the 2 plates i have welded in, but also have large (50mmx50mmx3mm) plate/washers under the parcel tray. would this be strong enuff??? _________________

from a purist's point of view you should have welded your 2plate to the underside of the parcel tray. |
