if your looking for full time power go straight to the battery with a inline fuse connecter.if that is just for your memory use a 7.5amp fuse!! |

I think I just put mine into the blinkers. The flasher unit on my TC is just above the drivers right knee. Pull the 3 pin plug off, and jam it back on with the backup power wire jammed in. Very dodgey, but it works fine. The fuse box is just a bit further over on the kick panel if you want to go there instead. |

Of course you can. Running power straight of the battery avoids interference caused by the loom. Also provides a bit more reliability.
I've seen car fires caused by dodgy stero wiring that overheats and melts. be carefull! |

i totally agree with kev if you asking a stupid question like that you should take it to somebody no offence mate
a amp has a negitive and a 12 volt which means straight
to battery because a amp has a remote switch on/off wire which you connect to your head unit and when your stereo switches off it then cuts power to your amp(s) mate like I said no offence but to replace your wiring loom will be more expensive then a stereo install |
