Hi, Im in adelaide am i am looking to buy my first car, I already have decided on a gem, Do any of you blokes on here have a TG sean or a TD or a TG Panno for sale??? even a wagon will do. I onle have about 2 grand to spend though??? is it possible to get something alright for this price, I do have another thousand in the bank if it needs a bit of work???
With Gemini wagons, do they have windows in the back, and panno's have filled in windows, plates i think? is it possible to change a wagon to a panno?
Thanks to whoever responds

dont have a car for sale but yes you can make a wagon into a panel van with a little bit of work involved its not just a matter of bolting in the panels you also have to put a floor panel in where the back seat used to go and its not a hard job just a pain in the ass |

I don't think I would buy a car ANYWHERE except motor auctions, if you know what you are looking for you can take off over 50% of what you would pay in a private sale or to a dealer. Tonight I saw a clean straight probably roadworthy white TE with a clean interior, straight body and only minor bootfloor rust (no pinholes and the only rust was on the seams and spare tyre drain hole) and a good condition stock motor sell for $900, which included new tyres and full logbock service history.
Or if you want to go cheap there was a 1984 TG with tacho dash and remote drivers mirror adjustment with the usual sprinkling of rust in the bottom of the doors (no bog) sell for $300. |
